Mnet Confirms New Season of "Unpretty Rapstar"

Mnet's rap survival show "Unpretty Rapstar" is set to return this fall with a new season! According to a representative of Mnet, the second season has been confirmed to air in September, and the filming is expected to begin in July. Nothing has been confirmed yet regarding the contestants or judges, but Mnet has reportedly left open the possibility of bringing back rappers from the first season. Apart from minor adjustments, the basic format of the show will stay the same.

Originally a spin-off of "Show Me the Money," the incredibly popular first season featured rappers Jessi, Cheetah, AOA's Jimin, Tymee, Lil Cham, Kisum, Yook Ji Dam, Jolly V, and Jace.
