Newsie Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Fans of the new show "King of Mask Singer" are using their best sleuthing skills to figure out the identity of the current reigning champ. The show is a survival singing competition with a twist - the contestants are all stars who sing while wearing a mask and using an alias. The audience and celebrity panel alike aren't told who they are, and so the idea is that each singer will be judged on their vocal talent alone. This makes it even more fun for viewers, as not only are the performances often jaw-dropping, there's the added fun of guessing who's behind the mask! Lately, netizens have become determined to figure out the identity of the soulful female singer behind the alias "Gold Lacquer Used Two Buckets," who has now won the title of "King of Mask Singer" twice in a row. On April 26's episode of "King of Mask Singer," she sang the song "Don't Think You're Alone" by Kim Bo Kyung from the OST of "School 2013." It looked like there wasn't a dry eye in the house during her performance. Many netizens have been guessing that she is Luna of f(x), as they say their voices sound similar. Some netizens also pointed out that the pale pink nail polish the masked singer was wearing on the April 12 episode seemed to match Luna's in a photo she posted on her Instagram a month ago. Still, others disagreed that it was the same, since Luna had black stars on one of her fingers and the singer doesn't seem to. Others have also pointed out that Luna has recently been posting photos of herself in Brazil on her Instagram. Nevertheless, others are arguing that the show is not live so it's possible that it was taped before she left for her trip on April 23. Some other names that the netizens are attaching to the voice include singers Youme and Bae Da Hae. So who do you think is behind the mask? Listen to the clip below and guess!
