Kim Soo Hyun's First Character Stills Released for "Producer"

Recommended Posts

Stills of Kim Soo Hyun in character for the upcoming KBS drama "Producer" were released. He plays the role of a newly-recruited producer, Baek Seung Chan. In the photos, the actor is seen wearing a bit of an over-sized, navy suit with his shoulder-bag slung across his chest, which surely gives off the "new intern" aura. He also seems to have a unique fashion sense judging from his polka-dotted tie. Baek Seung Chan can't seem to hide his nervousness as he continues to fumble with his water bottle and is unable to sit still. In the other photo, he looks zoned out and hopeless, especially because of his disheartened face and slumped shoulders. Baek Seung Chan is a law graduate of an ivy-league school who becomes a producer in KBS's variety department after blindly following the steps of his first love. Although he is smart, he is deemed clumsy as the new intern in the broadcasting industry. These stills were taken during the filming on April 5, and it is said that Kim Soo Hyun amazed the staff with his great acting skills. He especially paid close attention to little details such as the character's gaze, hand gestures, and habits.   The staff of "Producer" said, "Kim Soo Hyun studied his character so much and came to set fully ready which completely surprised the staff. His way of delivering the lines matched perfectly with Baek Seung Chan's personality; he surprised us many times on set. Please give lots of love towards Kim Soo Hyun's character, Baek Sung Chan, and the drama 'Producer.'" Source (1) See also: “Producer” Drops Video Teaser Featuring Full Main Cast
