Rain Wins Most Influential Korean Artist at China Music Awards

Singer, actor, and all-around superstar Rain was recognized for his star power when he won the award for "Most Influential Korean Artist" at the China Music Awards (CMA). Rain was there in person to attend the award show on April 16, and performed two of his hit songs, "30 Sexy" and "La Song." He was the only Korean artist that picked up an award at the show that night. In his acceptance speech, Rain addresses the audience in English. "First of all, thanks to my fans and thanks to China Music Awards," he says. "It's an honor. I'll do my best, thank you." Most recently, Rain released his sixth album "Rain Effect" last year and also appeared in the drama "My Lovely Girl." He is currently considering several different upcoming projects in Korea.
