2NE1's CL Is Not Included in the Final Time 100 Most Influential People List of 2015

CL of 2NE1 was eliminated from 2015's official “TIME 100: Most Influential People" list that was announced on April 16. CL was in second place in the final tally of “TIME 100: Most Influential People in the World” reader’s poll, announced on April 13, next to Putin, the president of Russia, but her name was not in the official list. The tally on April 13 counted votes that were done online, so the editors of TIME underwent a final evaluation before putting out the official list. In the "Leader" section of the official “TIME 100: Most Influential People” list, Barack Obama, the president of the United States, Putin, the president of Russia, Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor, Xi Jinping, the president of China, and other public figures of various countries were picked. In the "Icons" section of the list, Pope FrancisHaruki Murakami, a Japanese novelist, Thomas Piketty, the writer of the Best-Seller "Capital in the Twenty-First Century," American pop-star Taylor Swift, the youngest-ever Nobel Prize laureate, Malala Yousafzai, and more were selected. Others who made their names into the official list included American hip-hop artist Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian, Tim Cook of Apple, Hollywood director Christopher Nolan, Hollywood actors Bradley Cooper and Julianne Moore, plus many more.
