On April 2, YG Entertainment uploaded the official “2015 World Tour in Seoul with Naver” poster on their official website. The group will be starting their world tour with performances at Seoul Gymnastics Stadium on April 25 and 26. A representative from their agency stated, “They first went on a world tour in 2012 and went to 12 different countries and met 800,000 fans. They will be breaking their previous record for the largest scale world tour for a Korean artist.” The group will be touring 15 countries and holding 70 performances until 2016. They plan on meeting 1.4 million fans. They will perform in Korea, China, Japan, Southeast Asia, and the Americas. Roy Bennett will be a creative director for their world tour. He has won awards for his lighting and production designing. He also has experience designing concert sets for many artists including Prince, Paul McCartney, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and more. Ed Burke who is Beyonce’s videographer will be a joint creative director as well. Gil Smith II, who has been working with BIGBANG for four years, will participate as the music director. Furthermore, Jonathan Lia who has produced music videos for Kanye West, Beyonce, Madonna, and more will join the 100 American producers working on the world tour. The tickets for BIGBANG’s Seoul concerts will be on sale on April 6 and 7 through Gmarket.
