Henry's First Acting Experience in Korea, a Success!

Recommended Posts

Mnet's music drama "Perseverance Goo Hae Ra" recently came to an end and Super Junior's Henry has a few things he wants to say. In "Perseverance Goo Hae Ra," Henry got an opportunity to play a free-spirited, optimistic, 4-D character named "Henry Chen Tao." "At first it was difficult to adjust, because this was my first time being in a Korean drama, but I learned a lot and had loads of fun filming with the help of the director and other staff members. I grew so close with the actors I filmed with, and I feel so grateful for those who've supported me through it," says Henry, showing his gratitude by taking a selca with the last episode's script. Henry has built up his acting experience in the past by appearing in the Chinese drama "My Sweet City," the movie "Final Recipe," etc. He put those acting skills well to use, in conjunction with his well-known musical talent. He proved his musical skills in the drama by playing the piano, violin, guitar, and more, and got much praise from viewers for his silly yet innocent charms. Moreover, Henry has received such great feedback from this drama opportunity that he was also invited to MBC's "We Got Married" where his keen, gentle, and mannered actions towards his partner, coupled with the honest yet romantic side of his personality, grabbed the audience's attention. Aside from dramas, it looks like he's going to receive lots of love from variety shows, too!
