It has been revealed that actor Song Joong Ki is currently in talks to star in a new drama ahead of his military discharge. In response to an earlier report that stated that the actor had already confirmed his casting in scriptwriter Kim Eun Sook’s upcoming production titled “The Descendant of the Sun,” a representative of Song Joong Ki’s agency clarified the actor’s position as of now, explaining, “Nothing has been confirmed.” On March 2, the Blossom Entertainment rep shared with OSEN, “It is true that there was a meeting with producers of ‘The Descendant of the Sun,’ but his casting has not been confirmed.
