4Minute’s “Crazy” moves up 10 spots to become the new No. 1 song on our chart! This song is from their sixth mini-album of the same title. Prior to this song, 4Minute also released a preview single “Cold Rain” which went to No. 13. “Crazy” has a fast trap beat and additive chorus lyrics which perfectly show the members’ charismatic images. This is the third No. 1 song for 4Minute on our chart, and they continue their streak of having a chart topping song every odd year: “Mirror Mirror” in 2011, and “What’s Your Name?” in 2013. “Crazy” won on all music show rankings except Music Bank last week, so it was not a surprise to see this song winning by a wide margin here. Congratulations to 4Minute! EXID’s long running hit “Up And Down” made a big rebound this week, moving back up from No. 10 to No. 2. It was Lunar New Year holidays in Korea last week with not many new songs released. Carrying the strength of topping the Soompi airplay, this song was able to climb back into the top three. Last week’s top song, Zion. T & Crush’s “Just,” dropped two spots to No. 3. This R&B song is coming from the artists’ joint project single “Young.” Its refreshing melody blended well with the artists’ singing and rapping. The song is about feelings from one-sided love and breakups hard to describe in words. Up two spots to No. 4 is Naul from Brown Eyed Soul. His single “You From The Same Time” was a new top 10 entry from last week. It is a vintage R&B ballad from Naul with a familiar piano intro. The lyrics are about a man who cannot forget his past love. This song won on Music Bank last week, preventing a 4Minute sweep. Besides “Crazy,” there are two other new songs in the top 10 this week. Moving up 18 spots to No. 6 is R&B duo 15&. Their latest hit “Love Is Madness” features TROY’s Kanto as its rapper. This mid-tempo ballad has a dreamy intro with the perfect harmony of Jimin and Yerin. Moving up 14 spots to No. 7 is Amber from f(x). Her first solo hit song “Shake That Brass” features Girl’s Generation’s Taeyeon. This urban hip-hop song is from Amber’s first solo mini-album “Beautiful.” Amber’s unique rapping and dancing skill is in full display on this vibrant song. Amber co-wrote the song and asks listeners to forget about their worries and have fun tonight. [chart id="227" items_limit="50" detailed_items="10"]
