Newsie
MBLAQ’s Lee Joon shared that he draws on the real-life experience of a hoobae for his role in brand new SBS Monday-Tuesday drama “Heard It Through the Grapevine.” On February 23, Lee Joon attended a press conference for “Heard It Through the Grapevine” along with director Ahn Pan Suk and the cast, including Yoo Joon Sang, Yoo Ho Jeong, and Go Ah Sung. There, the singer-actor shared, “A hoobae of mine actually experienced something like this. I am absorbing myself [into the role] by drawing on the emotions I felt while watching him from the sidelines.” He added, “Because I witnessed it firsthand, it’s still fresh in my memory. While acting, I go back in time to that period and draw from my hoobae’s facial expressions and words.” Meanwhile, “Heard It Through the Grapevine” is a black comedy about the caprices of the upper class. Lee Joon plays Han In Sang, a model son and student from a very wealthy family who falls in love with an average girl named Bom (played by Go Ah Sung) and the turmoil that ensues. “Heard It Through the Grapevine” premiered on February 23, taking over “Punch’s” time slot.
