ZE:A’s Im Siwan is currently in talks for his next project after his widely successful drama “Misaeng.” He is considering the starring role in the film “Chae Hong Sa” (working title), written by Kim Mi Jung whose past works include the films “Shadows in the Palace” and “The Concubine.” Set against the reign of King Yonsan during the Joseon Dynasty, “Chae Hong Sa” tells the story of a man who, after his maiden is taken from him by the king, dresses up as a woman and infiltrates the royal palace. Reportedly, the production team of “Chae Hong Sa” had Im Siwan in mind even before “Misaeng.” Recently, CJ E&M submitted his name as a candidate for the lead role and is currently being deliberated over by investors. This is certainly not the only casting offer for movies the actor has received, but since he has been in talks with the production team for “Chae Hong Sa” for a while now, he is waiting to see how the matter pans out with investors. We hope it works out because we would definitely pay to see Im Siwan dressed up as a woman. Would you? Check out the video (from 2011) below where you can see him dancing in a dress!
