Hello, Soompiers in Korea! We are currently looking for dedicated and passionate writers, as well as a part-time office manager, to be part of our team in Seoul!

Soompi Editorial Intern

As a Soompi editorial intern, you will report to our office in Seoul and will work eight hours, five days a week. Duties will include writing and editing articles. The internship period is three months and the position is paid. Requirements:
  • Fluent enough in Korean to be able to read and translate written material
  • Have strong command of English grammar
  • Have good knowledge of the Korean entertainment industry
  • Must be organized, proactive, and dedicated

Soompi Office Intern

As the Soompi office intern, you will be required to report to the office 20 hours per week. Duties will include record-keeping, organizing meetings, and customer service. The position is paid. Requirements:
  • Fluent enough in Korean to be able to read and converse
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and dedicated

Please Note: Although both positions are paid, we will not be providing housing or transportation expenses. Additionally, you must be able to work legally in Korea, meaning that you will need to possess a proper visa. F-4 (for people of Korean heritage) and H-1 (for people from Canada, Australia, France, New Zealand, and Japan) will suffice, and other visas may be an option. We cannot sponsor visas.
