"Match Made in Heaven Returns" Responds to Leaked Photos of Dates

The production team of MBC Every1’s “Match Made In Heaven Returns” has released a statement following the leak of several photos of its cast members on dates. The photos in question show SHINee's Taemin and Narsha along with Takuya and Secret's Hyo Sung on dates. This lead to speculation that they would be fixed couples on the show.

On February 6, a representative of the show said, “The cast of ‘Match Made In Heaven Returns’ is currently taking part in a preliminary one night and two day ‘rotation date’ segment. Each cast member will have a trial date with several people, after which they will choose the person with whom they have the best connection. The photos currently being circulated online are only of those trial dates; they do not reflect the final pairings.”

They continued, saying, “Our goal is to create real-life couples as a result of this show, and we will respect the choices of the cast members. We hope you are looking forward to the show’s premiere.”

“Match Made In Heaven Returns” is the revival of 2002’s “Kang Ho Dong’s Match Made In Heaven,” a dating variety show that featured stars including Rain, Psy, Lee Seo Jin, and Sung Si Kyung. The new iteration of the show is set to feature Taemin, Super Junior M’s Henry, Takuya, Moon Hee Jun, Hyun Woo, Hyo Sung, Narsha, EXID’s Junghwa, and Mina Fujii, among others. There will be six male and five female cast members.

“Match Made In Heaven Returns” is set to premiere February 24 on MBC Every1.
