SMTOWN Releases Teaser Image for f(x)’s Amber Solo Album

SMTOWN and f(x)’s Amber tweeted what appears to be a teaser image for Amber’s solo album, set to be released next week. SM Entertainment, through their SMTOWN Global Twitter account, released a photo containing an open fortune cookie with a piece of paper inside that says, “Beautiful.” Amber then re-tweeted the image on her personal account, hinting that this teaser is for her new album. Perhaps the name of her album and/or her single will be entitled “Beautiful.” It was announced last week that Amber’s solo album is set to be released in mid-February. Amber, who is currently experiencing popularity due to her appearance in the variety show “Real Men – Female Solider Special,” will be the first f(x) member to release a solo album. It was reported that SM Entertainment would be releasing several solo projects in 2015. Amber appears to be the second. News that Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon will also be releasing a solo album seem to confirm these reports. This follows solo albums last year by SHINee’s Taemin, Super Junior-M‘s Henry and Zhoumi, and Super Junior’s Kyuhyun. Correction: The original article misstated that Amber is the first SM artist to go solo in 2015. The first SM solo project this year was by SHINee's Jonghyun, not Amber.
