EXID's "Up & Down" Might Have Been Hyuna or Ailee's Song

Girl group EXID revealed that their chart-topping number “Up & Down,” which is responsible for the group becoming one of the hottest topics right now, could have been Hyuna or Ailee’s song. On the February 2 broadcast of Mnet’s “YamanTV,” EXID opened up about their recent success, “These days [we] feel like [we] are living in a dream.” They revealed that, surprisingly, “Up & Down” wasn’t originally meant for EXID, and the group was supposed to only participate in the demo for it. However, the demo version of “Up & Down” was deemed to be the best version, and it became EXID’s song. Jung Hwa said, “To be honest, a lot of artists wanted this song. I heard that even Ailee and Hyuna unnis wanted it.” Meanwhile, Mnet’s “YamanTV” airs every Monday at 6 p.m., KST.
