Lee Hwi Jae to MC New Celebrity Matchmaking Show

Lee Hwi Jae has been named as the MC for MBC Every1’s new celebrity matchmaking program, “Match Made in Heaven Returns” (working title). “Match Made in Heaven Returns” is a reboot of “Kang Ho Dong’s Match Made in Heaven” (2002), which was a pioneer of celebrity matchmaking programs and featured top stars including Lee Seo Jin, Sung Si Kyung, Psy, Rain, Yoon Eun Hye, Jeon Hye Bin, and Han Chae Young. The new show will have an updated, more forthright couple-matching format than its predecessor. There is also a star-studded lineup in store for viewers as early as the first episode. MC Lee Hwi Jae will be wearing many hats on the show, playing the role of love messenger between the participants as well as drawing from his own dating experience to offer advice to them. Meanwhile, “Match Made in Heaven Returns” will premiere on February 24, KST.
