Newsie
Rainbow member Jisook is set to take part in her first photography exhibition, and will be donating the proceeds to charity. The star, who has also won fame as a “power” blogger, is a keen photographer. Her pictures will be on display at Gallery Illum in the Chungmuro district of downtown Seoul from February 5 to February 25. DSP Media, Rainbow’s talent agency, has announced that proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to a charity organization called Child Fund Korea. The photographs portray various aspects of everyday life, but are all infused with Jisook’s own sensibilities, according to the agency, something that adds a unique quality to her work. A representative for the exhibition has explained that Jisook has taken photography lessons in order to hone her skills, and that she is known for taking her camera with her whenever she is not busy with group or individual activities. Meanwhile, DSP has announced that Rainbow fans can expect a full-group February comeback from the girl group, which has not released new material since mid-2013.View the full article
