Newsie
SHINee’s Jonghyun has the new No. 1 song on our chart as his song “Deja-Boo” moves up 12 spots all the way to the top, edging out last week’s No. 1 - EXID’s “Up & Down” - by three points. Jonghyun has previously participated in drama OSTs but this is his first official solo debut with "Base." Jonghyun not only sings but also showcases his song writing skills as he co-composed "Deja-Boo" with Zion. T, the featured rapper. “Deja-Boo” won on Inkigayo and Music Core last week and continues to rack up music show wins this week so we expect this song to stay on top again next week. Congratulations to Jonghyun! There are two other brand new songs in the top 10 this week and both are ranked very high. Moving up 14 spots to No. 3 is rapper Mad Clown’s latest hit “Fire.” Mad Clown burst into the scene two years ago with “Stupid In Love,” a duet with Soyu. Last year he had a No. 3 hit “Without You” with another SISTAR member Hyorin. Now Mad Clown is back with his new mini-album “Piece Of Mine.” The title song “Fire” features the dreamy vocals of Mad Soul Child’s Jinshil. The song is about a man who won’t give up on a girl despite her treating him badly, and the music video features EXID member Hani. “Fire” is No. 1 on most independent charts this week and should pick up more points to challenge for the top spot next week. Moving up 19 big spots to No. 4 is Noel’s “Your Voice.” This song is the title track of the group’s mini-album “Invisible Things.” Written by member Lee Sang Gon, this ballad is about a man who misses saying “I Love You” to his ex-girlfriend. Noel showcases their great vocal and harmony on this song.
