After I was introduced to K-pop, I started to notice these singularly adorable artists with eyes that seemed to disappear when they smiled. "What is this strange phenomenon that leaves my heart fluttering?" I asked myself daily. With this question in mind, I turned to the modern day oracle of wisdom (Google) and discovered the definition which I was seeking, "Eye smile: The crescent moon-like shape the eye curves into when someone smiles. It is found as an attractive characteristic and commonly associated with Korean/Asian culture." Yes! This was the answer I had been seeking- the eye smile. Now, the only question that remains unanswered is "Who Has the Best Eye Smile in K-pop?" Soompiers, I turn to you for wisdom.  Eunji - Apink Even if she stares blankly at a camera, Eunji would be so adorable that it would seem impossible for her to get any cuter. However, she only needs to smile to prove that belief wrong! With one of the cutest eye smiles in K-pop, does she deserve the title of "Best Eye Smile in K-pop?" Taeyang - Big Bang  Taeyang's eye smile is one of the favorites among K-pop fans! However, is it enough to take the crown for the "Best Eye Smile in K-pop?" If you think the ever-adorable Taeyang deserves the title, make sure to vote for him on the final page of this gallery! Tiffany - Girls' Generation I have a real love-hate relationship with Tiffany. The things I love about her? She's gorgeous, super talented, funny and sweet. However, she's also really skinny, dates Nichkhun and has one of the cutest eye smiles in the history of the world! When one person has all that good fortune, it just seems too unfair to the rest of us. Jinwoon - 2AM Jinwoon is the male equivalent of Tiffany- gorgeous, sweet, funny, talented and with an insanely adorable eye smile. He's even friends with Nichkhun (Why are some people in this world so blessed, God? Why?).  Is his eye smile enough to win him the title of "Best Eye Smile in K-pop" though?  Soompiers, let your voices be heard! Minah - Girl's Day Minah is one of my favorite women in K-pop. Why? Because she is so incredibly nice! I saw her at a press conference once and she was so sweet. Later that night, I was taking pictures during their performance and she stopped to give me a high five. Ever since then, I have had a huge girl-crush on Minah (as does 99% of the K-pop world). Onew - SHINee I am a huge fan of SHINee, but even if I totally put my own biased opinion aside, I still think that Onew has one of the most adorable (and easily recognizable) eye smiles in K-pop. When Onew smiles, his entire face lights up! As a result, I just sit there and grin as well, because it's just too adorable for words. Mina - AOA Almost all K-pop fans have an opinion about the best eye smile in the industry, but undoubtedly, one of the cutest eye smiles belongs to Mina. When she smiles, she suddenly enters hyper-adorable mode and I find myself fighting the urge to go "Awwwwww!" Does she have what it takes to win the title of "Best Eye Smile in K-pop?" Daesung - Big Bang If you can look at this picture of Daesung for 10 seconds without bursting in the biggest grin ever, then you have way  more self-control than I do. Hands down, Daesung has one of the most infectious eye smiles in the business. Is it enough to win the title of "Best Eye Smile in K-pop?" Only time will tell. Sulli - f(x) In my opinion, Sulli is one of the prettiest girls in K-pop.  I also think she is one of the sweetest! A favorite of fans and stars alike, Sulli has many charms- one of which is her adorable eye smile. Do you want her to be crowned queen of the eye smiles in K-pop? If so, make sure to vote on the final page! Baekhyun - EXO From the time he debuted, I've always loved Baekhyun! However, my affection for him grew even greater when I was in the front row of a concert. He reached down, grabbed my hand, squeezed it and then smiled at me. After that, my adoration grew so much that if I had my own country, I would appoint Baekhyun as president. It would be a magical place of laughter and amazing singing skills. Our nation's motto would be, "Long may he reign. Kkaepsong!" Is he king of the eye smiles though? You decide! Minzy - 2NE1 When I look at people like Minzy, I wonder why manga authors find it necessary to make their characters have gigantic eyes. In my opinion, there is nothing cuter than when these artists smile and their eyes almost totally disappear. Minzy is definitely no exception! Although she is generally fierce and strong when performing, she instantly turns adorable when she lets her eye smile really shine. Hyunsik - BTOB If you have never fallen in love before, then it's likely you have never seen Hyunsik's eye smile. Take a good look at this picture and then say it with me, "Awwww!" Ask yourself one of the most important questions that the world has ever known though- is it the "Best Eye Smile in K-pop?" It's almost decision-time, Soompiers. Sunny - Girls' Generation After compiling this list, I'm starting to think one of SM Entertainment's requirements for artists is to have an adorable eye smile. How else can you explain so many of their artists making the list? Although Tiffany may be more famous for her eye smile, there is no doubt that Sunny is impossibly adorable with her eye smile as well. Will she be crowned winner? Kikwang - BEAST When I first watched Kikwang on a variety show as a rookie, I thought, "Aw, he's cute." A moment later, he smiled. Suddenly, I found myself fan-girling and squealing, "Oh my gosh!
