"My Heart Twinkle Twinkle" Starts Off with Low Viewership Ratings

Recommended Posts

SBS's new weekend drama "My Heart Twinkle Twinkle" is off to a slow start, recording a 2.9 percent rating. According to the ratings research company Nielsen Korea on January 18, "My Heart Twinkle Twinkle" recorded 2.9 percent viewership across the country. MBC's "Legendary Witch," which is broadcast in the same time slot, recorded 28 percent, while KBS 1TV's "The World Now" recorded 5.5 percent and KBS 2TV's "Chase 60 Minutes" recorded 4.5 percent. That puts "My Heart Twinkle Twinkle" at last place of the three public broadcast companies. While "Legendary Witch" has gained wild popularity and is looking to break the 30 percent viewership mark, the 2.9 percent rating for SBS is disappointing. The preceding work, "Birth of a Beauty," ended up with a 7.2 percent rating, and "My Heart Twinkle Twinkle" did not reach half of those ratings. Meanwhile, "My Love Twinkle Twinkle" deals with the food that is loved all over Korea, fried chicken. It tells the story of two families who are complicatedly intertwined, and the family members' successes and love. The first broadcast of the drama set the scene for the two families' ill-fated relationship.
