Kwon Sang Woo to Return to Big Screen with "Detective"

Actor Kwon Sang Woo will be making his return to the big screen with an upcoming crime film called "Detective." Kwon Sang Woo's representative announced on January 13 that he has confirmed to appear in the film "Detective" along with actor Sung Dong Il. The film is expected to go into productions in March. This would be Kwon Sang Woo's first Korean film in almost four years, after his 2011 melodrama "Pained." In the meantime, he recently completed shooting a film called "Honeymoon with My Enemy" in China, starring alongside Zhang Yuqi. "Detective" will be a crime thriller about a comic book store owner who ends up collaborating with a police detective on an actual crime case. It will be directed by Kim Jung Hoon, who is known for directing romantic comedy "Petty Romance." Recently, Kwon Sang Woo and his wife Son Tae Young welcomed their second child to their family.
