MBC has decided on the follow-up program to "Dad! Where Are We Going?" which will air its final episode on January 11. The broadcast company revealed on January 8 that "Animals" will take the place of "Dad! Where Are We Going?" starting on January 25. "Animals" will follow the events that take place when stars and animals live together. The two producers for "Animals" will be Kim Hyun Chul, who is famous for his work on "Amazon's Tears," and producer Je Young Jae, who has worked on "Infinity Challenge." In particular, Kim Hyun Chul joined MBC in 1997 and has proven his place as a great producer of documentaries. This will be the first time for him to attempt a variety program. "Animals" production associates revealed, "All of the planning has entered its final stages, and we will soon begin work on site." The source added, "'Animals' will be a 'stand-alone cooperation project' where stars and animals eat, sleep, and spend time together in nature's beauty. The program will explore the different values that will inevitably arise when animals and humans try to live together for an extended amount of time. We are thinking of realistic ways in which animals and humans can co-exist." The production team has already finished their research and analysis on animals that will be used for the program, such as sheep, donkeys and pigs, and they have also built an "Animal Town" where the animals and stars will spend time together. MBC also revealed that they will keep an eye on local emergencies involving animals, and that a wild animal rescue team will be rescuing these animals into the "Animal Town." According to previous reports, Girls' Generation's Yuri and ex-basketball star Seo Jang Hoon are in talks to join the program.
