SHINee's Jonghyun to Pre-Release "Déjà-Boo" Featuring Zion.T on January 7

SHINee's Jonghyun will be giving his fans a taste of what's to come on January 7, when he is set to drop his pre-release track "Déjà-Boo" featuring hip-hop artist Zion.T. The song will be made available on various online music stores at midnight. Described as a retro punk track with a funky rhythm and strong bass lines, "Déjà-Boo" is a co-production between Jonghyun and featuring artist Zion.T, who is well known for his unique yet addictive vocals. Many have been anticipating to see whether Jonghyun's personal productions will be included in his first solo album. The idol has earned recognition for his songwriting skills by penning the lyrics for SHINee’s “Juliette” and “Honesty,” as well as composing IU‘s “Gloomy Clock” and Son Dam Bi‘s “Red Candle,” among many other songs. For the past three days, Jonghyun has dropped teasers about artists that have collaborated with him for "Base." It has been revealed that Younha, Wheesung, Iron, and now Zion.T will be featured in the mini album. Meanwhile, Jonghyun will hold his first solo showcase "BASE of JONGHYUN" on January 8 at 7 p.m., followed by performances on weekly music shows starting off with "Music Bank" on January 9. The album will drop on January 12 at noon, and it will be made available both online and offline.
