Newsie
Actor Uhm Tae Woong was at awe after seeing his sister Uhm Jung Hwa perform in the “Saturday Saturday Is a Singer” special for “Infinity Challenge.” Through his Twitter on January 4, Uhm Tae Woong posted his opinion of his sister’s stage by saying, “It’s about time for her to stop being sexy, but she’s even sexier than ever.” Previously, he had also retweeted Jinusean member Sean’s post that said, “I write DIVA and read Uhm Jung Hwa. I write Uhm Jung Hwa and read QUEEN. Thank you appearing in ‘Saturday Saturday Is a Singer.’ Also, thank you for performing in ‘Tell Me’ with us.” “Though performing on stage used to be my everything, it was being erased from my memory as time passed. I declined the offer at first with a heavy heart due to a movie filming until I received a call from Sean,” Uhm Jung Hwa posted on Twitter, after the airing of “Saturday Saturday Is a Singer” on January 3. “The ‘Tell Me’ stage was when both Jinusean and I shined the brightest. This is a trip back in time that I will never want to forget.” She also expressed her affection for her backup dancers, Friends, by saying, “When I had called Friends four days before the filming and met up with all the members, we were all at the brink of tears. My stage without Friends is meaningless. Though we had worried about forgetting the choreography an hour before the actual filming, once the music was on, our bodies remembered the dance moves. We all joked that it seemed as if our last stage together was just yesterday.” “Though it is impossible to go back to 1997 or 1998, I was deeply moved when I greeted Cool, Kim Gun Mo, Jinusean, Lee Jung Hyun, Jo Sung Mo, Kim Hyun Jung, Turbo, So Chan Whee, and S.E.S. I felt like crying,” Uhm Jung Hwa continued. She expressed her gratitude by saying, “It’s amazing how we can go back to the 90s after all this time has passed. I can still remember our hardships vividly. Thank you so much ‘Infinity Challenge.’ You brought our memories back to reality. Thank you for letting me join, even though I was a little late. Thank you Yoo Jae Suk for perfectly learning the choreography to ‘Poison.’” Lastly, Uhm Jung Hwa sent a message out to viewers and her fans by saying, “I would like to thank everyone for their memories of our songs in the past. Your memories are our memories as well. Thank you for your love. It was more than enough.” [tv]Watch Uhm Jung Hwa's performance on Infinity Challenge on SoompiTV![/tv]View the full article
