Chae Si Ra Confirmed for Drama "Unkind Women," to Star alongside Kim Hye Ja and Lee Ha Na

Actress Chae Si Ra has chosen the upcoming KBS drama "Unkind Women" (working title) as her comeback project. This will be her first drama in two years. An industry insider told Daily Sports on December 28, "Chae Si Ra will be starring in the KBS Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Unkind Women." In the drama, Chae Si Ra will portray Kim Hyun Sook, a woman who had an unwanted pregnancy at the age of 20. Determined that her daughter must have a better life than her, she manages to raise her daughter to be the youngest Doctorate degree holder. Veteran actress Kim Hye Ja will portray her mother, while Lee Ha Na will play her intelligent daughter. Chae Si Ra's last drama was "Five Fingers," which aired more than two years ago. "Unkind Women" will be directed by Yoon Hyun Gi, who is known for his works for "God of Study," and "Brain." The script will be written by screenwriter Kim In Young, who penned "Man from the Equator" and "Women from the Sun." "Unkind Women" will start airing in February after the completion of "The King's Face."
