Newsie
Female trio The Shorties, who made it to the top three on the third season of "K-Pop Star," will be having their debut early next year with a new member. The Shorties' agency CS Entertainment announced on December 24, "The original member Park Na Jin has left the group due to personal reasons, while Lee Joo Yeon will be replacing her. We decided to complete the trio with Lee Joo Yeon after much consideration as we thought that she would fit the group's color." Lee Joo Yeon is a young singer who participated in "K-Pop Star 2," and was ultimately eliminated in the battle rounds to determine the top ten. The shorties, who originally consisted of Ryu Tae Kyung, Yeo In Hye, and ex-member Park Na Jin, were a group of friends from Daegu who were eliminated from the runner-up round of "K-Pop Star 3." They lost against Bernard Park and Sam Kim. The Shorties are expected to debut in March of next year.View the full article
