Recent reports have stated that BIGBANG star Taeyang could be set to collaborate with Jeff Bernat, a Filipino-American RnB singer who debuted with the album “The Gentleman Approach” in 2012. Media outlet MyDaily has reported that, according to a K-pop industry insider, the BIGBANG star has already met Jeff Bernat, and that the two have even begun to work on their duet. Star News has also reported on the collaboration, stating that the two artists are discussing a joint performance for SBS' Gayo Daejun. Moreover, Jeff Bernat had previously posted a Tweet suggesting a future collaboration with Taeyang, although the post has since been deleted. Jeff Bernat performed a cover version of the Taeyang hit “Eyes, Nose, Lips” at a concert in October, and has also worked with other Korean artists in the past. Jeff Bernat released the track “Make it Official” with hip hop artist Scary’P in November this year.
