The top two songs remain the same this week as Kyuhyun’s “At Gwanghwamun” repeats at No. 1 for the second straight week. Once again it defeats AOA’s “Like A Cat.” The gap between these two songs has actually grown wider, with “At Gwanghwamun” winning by 45 points this week compared to 27 points last week. “At Gwanghwamun” won another two music program last week as it was No. 1 on M!Countdown and Show Champion. Congratulations once again to Kyuhyun, who has made a spectacular solo debut. There are lots of changes beneath the top two songs as we have four new songs in the top 10 this week. Moving up 12 spots to No. 3 is a duet between SISTAR’s Hyorin and Jooyoung titled “Erase.” Once again a SISTAR member is helping an underrated artist with a duet. Soyu has done that many times and it is now Hyorin’s turn. “Erase” is a jazz style R&B ballad that showcases the vocal strength of both artists. The lyrics is about young people’s typical relationship cycle of going through hook up and break up as a new relationship will erase a previous one. Up 15 spots to No. 5 is Toy’s “Three People,” featuring Sung Shi Kyung. Musician and MC Yoo Hee Yeol, who goes by his stage name Toy, releases his seventh studio album “Da Capo” recently. That is his first album in seven years. Songs on his album achieves “all kill” on music charts, and despite no promotion, album title track “Three People” won on Music Bank and Music Core last week. This song is about a sad love story of a man who watched the woman he loved marry his friend and he can only wish them happiness. Sung Shi Kyung’s smooth vocal is a perfect fit for this song. Moving up eight spots to No. 6 is a duet between BIGBANG’s G-Dragon and Taeyang. Their song “Good Boy” is a hip-hop song with additive trap beat. Taeyang’s vocal and G-Dragon’s rap matches perfectly. Written by G-Dragon himself, the lyrics are about a man who wants to have a fairy tale style romance. “Good Boy” won on Inkigayo last week but is not yet ranked on some of the music program charts, so it has to settle for the sixth spot on our chart this week. The last new song in the top 10 is at No. 7, it is by one of this year’s top new male group GOT7. After releasing two mini-albums earlier this year, they finally release their first full length album “Identify” recently. The title song “Stop Stop It” is a JYP written groovy hip-hop dance song. This song is unique in that GOT7 members’ voices were distorted using a vocoder. [chart id="187" items_limit="50" detailed_items="10"]
