The star is reporting to an army facility in Nonsan in South Chungcheong Province on December 4, where he will receive basic military training for a period of four weeks. Following this, he will serve the remainder of his duty in the national police force. A spokesperson for Lee Jae Won’s talent agency, Tourtainment, announced, "As he has now finished work on the MBC drama series “My Spring Day,” he is supposed to begin his army service. He will start working again after he has been discharged."
