"Roommate" Cast Play a Mean Prank on GOT7's Jackson

Jackson from GOT7  showed his immense love for his mother on the Dec. 2 episode of  SBS’ “Roommate” program. Jackson sat in the waiting room with Seo Kang Joon and his fellow band members. Seo Kang Joon told him that his mother, who lived in Hong Kong, was waiting for him right outside the door and urged him to call out to her. He couldn’t believe his ears, but he tried calling out to her. “Mama! Mama! MOMMY!” shouted Jackson. His eyes grew twice their usual size as he sat and hoped to see his mother walk through the door. Unfortunately, it was Lee Gook Joo, a comedian most often seen on tvN's "Comedy Big League," who walked in holding a cake. The hopeful light in Jackson’s eyes quickly died out as soon as he saw who it was. The disappointment was clearly evident, and it seemed a piece of his soul died right at that spot. Lee Gook Joo and Seo Kang Joon wanted to welcome Jackson to his initiation into their shared house on the “Roommate” program, but it seemed they took the welcome ceremony a bit too far with the reception. Once the air was cleared, Jackson called his mother over the phone and introduced them. Lee Gook Joo introduced herself to his mother as Jackson’s “Korean mom” and promised she would look out for her son. “I thought my mom had really come from Hong Kong. Maybe she came to surprise me. Truth be told, I almost had tears coming out of my eyes,” said Jackson in an interview with the producers. As a young man living alone away from family, he clearly has nothing but affection for his mom. And everyone got to see that.
