BIGBANG Tops Oricon Weekly Album Chart

BIGBANG’s “The Best of BIGBANG 2006-2014,” which was released in Japan last month on November 26, topped both the Oricon daily and weekly album charts. The album kicked off their five dome tour “BIGBANG Japan Dome Tour 2014," and commemorates the fifth anniversary of BIGBANG’s debut, including a total of 50 songs. “The Best of BIGBANG 2006-2014” broke records for the group, selling 120,442 copies in its first week. It came in at number one in daily album rankings immediately after its release, maintaining its spot for five days straight. The album contains “My Heaven,” the song BIGBANG debuted in Japan with in 2009, Japanese versions of a number of popular hits, such as “Fantastic Baby” and “Monster,” as well as solo songs by individual members.
