British-Korean Trainee Shannon William Leaves Core Contents Media to Debut Under Own Independent Label

While earlier reports mentioned that the 13-year-old Shannon Williams will be making her debut under MBK Entertainment (Core Contents Media) after training for five years, the half-Korean, half-British girl who wowed audience with her rendition of songs from the "Phantom of the Opera" and "Aladdin" on the television show "Star King" is apparently making a totally different career move and will be under her own independent label! Shannon, who's set to make her debut very soon after MBK Entertainment (Core Contents Media) has released a teaser of her on November 24, has left the agency for the company named Dap Sound. "Shannon is now independent from her agency, Core Contents Media. The music brand company Dap Sound will now take care of the planning and production of Shannon's musical activities," said Dap Sound on November 27. Dap Sound is an entertainment company established by Shin Dong Wook of the 90s popular group "Goofy," music director Lim Sang Hyuk from Cube Entertainment, and Choi Sun Yong, who has worked with Davichi for five years. It is a an entertainment company that was especially made for Shannon.
