During Epik High’s solo concert “Parade 2014” that took place on November 16, member Tablo surprised the crowd by announcing, “My daughter is here at today’s concert.” This show was the last night of Epik High’s three-day concert lineup, during which they performed for a total of 12,000 people. Tablo, Mithra Jin, and DJ Tukutz started off the show with “Encore,” included in their eighth full-length album “Shoebox,” as the first song of the night, heating up the stage and getting the crowd pumped for the rest of the concert. As the show continued, Epik High began performing “Born Hater,” which is another one of their new album tracks. The lyrics of this song contain the swear word “f**k” multiple times. In the midst of rapping, Tablo stopped himself from saying the word and shouted, “Haru is here today, right?” to which Tukutz responded, “She’s here.” With the crowd’s supportive cheering, Tablo continued on with the song. However, rather than rapping “f**k up,” he switched that part out to say “father” instead, as Haru and her mom, actress Kang Hye Jung, were in attendance to watch the concert from the second floor of the audience.
