Newsie
Ah, the mane of glory. There is something irresistible about men with long locks. It's about the way it moves in the wind. Jung Yong Hwa in "The Three Musketeers" And its touchable softness. Lee Philip in "The Legend" And the look of wild mysteriousness. Jung Il Woo in "Return of Iljimae" While it is a bit hard to find many men sporting long locks in contemporary times, there is an abundance of them in K-dramas; namely in sageuks (mostly fusion sageuks), aka, historical dramas. Song Jae Rim and Jung Il Woo in "The Moon that Embraces the Sun" The different styling of hair can achieve drastically different looks. Lee Seung Gi looks like a mischievous little rug-rat in this sageuk up-do for "Gu Family Book," but... pull the hair down, spray a little water, and you have a sexy half-beast. The way you style that front fringe makes all the difference. Pull it up and you have Cha Tae Hyun showing a little too much forehead in "Jeon Woo Chi." Too much forehead is a no-no for sageuk hairstyles, like here: Lee Soo Hyuk in "Tree with Deep Roots" without and with bangs. 50-50 parts are also a big "Don't," like here: Lee Seung Gi in "Gu Family Book" and here: Ji Chang Wook in "Empress Ki" Covering the forehead achieves a mysterious look, like it did for Kang Dong Won in "Duelist." or a dangerous look like Choi Jin Hyuk's in "Gu Family Book." You can choose the shaggy sageuk mane. Kang Dong Won in the film "Jeon Woo Chi: The Taoist Wizard" Lee Min Ho in "Faith" Lee Jun Ki in "Iljimae" Jung Il Woo in "Return of Iljimae" Or you can choose the silky, straight locks: Kim Jaejoong in "Jackal Is Coming" Yoo Seung Ho in "Warrior Baek Dong Soo" Lee Min Ho in "Faith" Kim Bum in "Goddess of Fire, Jung-yi" Just don't do any of these in modern times: Choi Woo Shik, Lee Min Ho, Park Yoochun, and Jung Suk Won in "Rooftop Prince" Unless you can pull it off like: Kang Dong Won Kim Soo Hyun Go Soo Song Jae Rim and Ji Chang Wook View the full article
