This 4-episode special drama will start airing Sept 27 at the 9:55pm timeslot, replacing Special Crime Investigation.

Hong Kyeong-Min to star in 4-episode drama on KBS2 titled 'Fugitive, Lee Du-Yong' which is scheduled to air for 2 weeks on wednesday and thursdays nights, starting on September 27th.

Hong plays the character Lee Du-Yong who begins a life on the run after being framed for a murder.

Actor Lee Seon-Gyun plays the detective who chases after him, and other cast members include Choi Ja-Hye, Kim Gyu-Cheol, Choi Ju-Bong, Lim Hyeon-Shik.

right now I have faith in the screenwriter and PD. I've seen several of their past Drama City episodes and liked them.

writer 박지숙 was responsible for 2004's Drama City Blue Skies of Jeju Island (starring Uhm Tae Woong) and 2005's Drama City Oh! Sarah (starring Lee Min Ki, Seo Do Young, Yoo In Young). While PD 한준서 was a co-producer of Immortal Yi Soon Shin and the PD for the 2006 Drama City Gwija's Story, which X has been raving about at his blog.

hong kyeong-min (left) was last seen in mbc daily drama 'love cannot be stopped by anyone [사랑은 아무도 못말려]' but i think he is still better known as a singer? but he'll play the baby member of a gangster clan. and actor lee seon-gyun (right) who will play the detective was last seen in mbc best theatre 'tae-ryeung athelete's village [태릉선수촌]' but i guess he is in more films than dramas. another picture of him:

not sure who she plays. does anyone else know? she was recently seen in 'spring waltz' and last year's 'be strong geumsoon'.

졸지에 도망자 신세가 된 홍경민의 우스꽝스런 도피 행각이 화제다.

어제(29일) 강남 청담동, 여의도 일대에서 미니 4부작 수목드라마 '도망자 이두용'(극본 박지숙, 연출 한준서) 첫 촬영이 진행됐다.

- 연기자 홍경민은 좀 낯선데 좋은 점수를 받고 있는 것 같은데

홍경민 : 일일극 주인공을 맡아 연기를 해보니 재미있다. 그러나 아직은 가수 홍경민이 더 잘 어울리는 것 같다.

가수 활동도 계속 할 계획이다. 10월에는 발라드곡을 위주로 한 음반도 나온다.

- KBS 드라마에는 오랜만의 출연인데

홍경민 : 7년전 드라마시티에 잠깐 출연하고 처음이다. 주인공을 맡아 KBS 드라마를 찍게 돼 기쁘다.

실험적인 4부작 미니 드라마의 성공에 한 몫을 하고 싶다.

기획안을 읽는데 왠지 이두용역을 잘할수 있다는 자신감이 생겼다. 바로 캐스팅 제의를 수락했다.

- 도망자 두용으로 출연하는데 실감나긴하는데 넘 비굴해 보인다(웃음)

홍경민 : (웃음) 사실 비굴하고 치사한 도망자가 이두용의 컨셉이다.

일부러 어깨도 숙이고 잔뜩 웅크린듯한 자세를 유지하고 있다. 오늘은 먹다버린 라면도 주워먹었고 옷도 훔치고 완전히 망가지고 있다.

- 연기자로 전업하는거 아닌가

홍경민 : 연기에 대한 욕심이 있다. 10월에 음반이 나오면 영화나 드라마를 해 볼 생각이다.

가수와 또다른 면이 있는 것 같다.

도망자를 한달 동안 연기할 홍경민의 자세가 좋아보인다.

연출을 맡은 한준서PD도 홍경민의 첫 촬영에 흡족해 한다.

'도망자 이두용'은 KBS가 의욕을 가지고 추진하는 4부작 초미니 드라마로 시청자의 반응을 보고 향후 계속 확대할 계획이다.

'도망자 이두용'은 9월 27일 부터 28일, 10월 4, 5일 밤 9시 55분 2TV로 방송된다.

I catched the last epi at kbs world today. Ohh wow, the twist in this story was good man but the ending i dont really get it so what happen to him and choi ja hye? she received the airtickets and then she ran to? i dont now where. RIGHTT.

haha, if you're korean, and you get korean humor. you'll LAUGH YER BUTT OFF. well, at least i did. the twists, suspense, and action was all great. of course its not as great as a movie, but hey, it was pretty good for a short drama.

everyone's acting was superb including hongkyoungmin, i was really impressed.

i advise everyone to watch it.
