After three years, singer and actress Chae Yeon will appear on Korean television. A representative from a broadcasting company revealed in a phone interview with OSEN on October 11, “Chae Yeon has recently participated in the filming for SBS’ ‘Roommate 2.’” The representative continued, “She wasn’t cast by the production team. She actually showed up at the Seongbukdong house as a friend of a cast member. She had an acquaintance with a rather unexpected member. With similar reasons, Girls’ Generation’s YoonA as well as g.o.d’s Danny Ahn also visited the Seongbukdong house at different times.” With this revelation, many are anticipating how the three guests would get along with the rest of the members of “Roommate.” Meanwhile, the last Korean activity Chae Yeon had participated in was in a 2011 talk show, “Talk & City 5.” Over the last three years, she’s been busy promoting in China instead. She is gaining much popularity not only as a singer but as an actress as well. “Roommate” airs every Sunday on SBS.
