Makers of “Hwang Gu” Movie Release Stills Featuring 4Minute’s Sohyun

The makers of forthcoming movie “Hwang Gu” have released still photos from the film. The pictures feature 4Minute star Sohyun, who will be making her acting debut in “Hwang Gu.” The singer will be playing the role of Mi Soo, the girlfriend of a budding taekwondo star. Mi Soo’s boyfriend encounters difficulty in realizing his dream of joining the Korean national team because he is from a mixed-race family. He is forced to deal with prejudice on his journey to sporting glory. The movie will also star Trot singer Park Hyun Bin, who can also be seen in these images. It is slated for release on October 16. The release of these stills comes hot on the heels of the recent announcement that fellow 4Minute member Jihyun is to appear in a web-based drama called “Love Cell” (working title), alongside stars such as Kim Woo Bin.
