Newsie
"Jackie Chan-dols" JJCC are attracting attention for their unusual form of fan service. Photos and videos of the boy group holding a "guerrilla concert" on a 15 ton wingtop truck in Kangwon Province, Chungcheong Province, Jeolla Province, Kyungsang Province, and other areas of Korea have surfaced on various online communities, including JJCC's official fan club cafe. It is heartwarming to see how the boys have made room in their schedule to constantly communicate with their fans, despite being busy with preparations for their official debut and the release of their first mini-album. It is said that no expense was spared; the truck rental and inside stage cost approximately 200 million won (200,000 USD). According to a representative from JJCC's label, The Jackie Chan Group Korea, "We wanted people in the countryside to be able to watch concerts as well, since they don't get as many opportunities as those in the Seoul capitol area. This project was our small way of giving them the opportunity to have some fun. Even though JJCC is busy with promotions at the moment, whenever there is a chance we take the time to interact with our fans directly." Meanwhile, the group released their first mini album "JJCC" on August 21 and will participate in the 2014 Incheon Asia Games "2014 Hallyu Tourism Concert" on September 17.
