Newsie
On September 10, KBS and MBC both aired the first episodes of their Wednesday-Thursday dramas. KBS’ “Iron Man,” which took the slot from “The Joseon Gunman,” ended up last in ranking with 6.6%. Meanwhile, MBC’s “My Spring Day,” which followed the ending of “Fated to Love You,” took second with 8.1%. First place was SBS’ “It’s Okay, It’s Love,” which aired its penultimate episode and recorded a rating of 11.4%. “Iron Man” is about Joo Hong Bin (portrayed by Lee Dong Wook), who is a hot-tempered and foul-mouthed CEO of a game company. He has serious anger management issues and even sprouts knives out of his back when his fury gets the best of him. But he begins to change as he meets the warm-hearted and bright Son Se Dong (portrayed by Shin Se Kyung). The drama also stars Han Eun Jung, Kim Gab Soo, and Lee Mi Sook. “My Spring Day” is about Lee Bo Mi (portrayed by Girls’ Generation’s Choi Sooyoung), a clinical dietician that gets a second shot at life with a heart transplant. She runs into Kang Dong Ha (portrayed by Kam Woo Sung), who happens to be the husband of her donor. They soon fall into a destined love as Bo Mi gets closer to the family and Dong Ha starts to find similarities between his late wife and Bo Mi. The drama will also star Lee Joon Hyuk and Jang Shin Young. The viewership battle will probably meet a new beginning as “My Lovely Girl” airs its first episode next week in place of “It’s Okay, It’s Love.” It will be about a songwriter-producer, Lee Hyun Wook (portrayed by Rain, also known as Jung Ji Hoon), and a young rising songwriter, Yoon Se Na (portrayed by f(x)’s Krystal), falling in love through their musical interests. It will also star Cha Ye Ryun and Infinite’s L. Which one is your pick?View the full article
