WINNER repeats at No. 1 as their song “Empty” is the only song to score over 900 points on our chart this week. They won on Inkigayo and M!Countdown again last week. Another rookie artist, Park Bo Ram’s “Beautiful” moved up two spots to take second place but is more than 100 points behind WINNER. This is the first time ever on our chart that two debuting artists occupy the top two spots with their first songs. Congratulations to WINNER. Rounding out the top three is also an artist with his first solo mini-album, even though he is not a rookie. SHINee’s Taemin moves up 11 spots with his first solo top 10 hit “Danger.” It is the title track from his mini-album “ACE.” “Danger” is a swing dance song with electro synth sound. It is about a phantom thief who steals a woman’s heart. “Danger” won on Music Core the past week and is within reach to challenge WINNER for the top spot next week. Right below “Danger” is Kara’s new song “Mamma Mia.” It moved up 11 spots to No. 4 this week. Kara has a revamped lineup with the departure of Nicole and Kang Ji Young and the addition of Heo Young Ji. They became a four member group and released their sixth mini-album “Day & Night” recently. The title song “Mamma Mia” is written by Double Sidekick. It has synth sound and an additive melody with repetitive lyrics. "Mamma Mia" scored a win on Show Champion last week.  Kara has always done well on our chart and here they pick up another top five hit. Just below “Mamma Mia” is Orange Caramel’s new song “My Copycat,” making it three straight songs in the top five. This song is from their fourth single. It is an electronic dance song with saxophone arrangement. The fun lyrics and catchy chorus makes Orange Caramel even cuter. Moving up 17 spots to No. 8 is a collaboration between rapper Swings and singer Ailee. Aside from IU, Ailee has also been a favorite collaborating partner with male artists. This time she helps Swings to land his first top 10 hit. Their song “A Real Man” combines Swings advice for woman in raps, and Ailee’s powerful vocal. This is a sequel to Swing’s earlier hit “A Real Woman.” Moving up 10 spots to No. 9 is Busker Busker’s front man Jang Bum Joon’s first solo hit “Difficult Woman.” This is the title track of Jang Bum Joon’s first solo album. The unique folksy melody reminds us of Busker Busker’s hit song. “Difficult Woman” is a romantic song that many people can relate to. Jang Bum Joon sings this song acoustically so that he can deliver the emotion of the song from his heart.
