YG Releases Long-Awaited Teasers For New Survival Program “MIX & MATCH”

On September 5, YG Entertainment released a teaser for the first episode of their new survival program, “MIX & MATCH.” The contents of this teaser foreshadowed a hard battle with the title, “A Cruel, Strong, Fierce 180 Days of Survival.” It also introduced the nine trainees that will be featured—the initial six members of WIN Team B (B.I, Bobby, Kim Jin Hwan, Song Yoon Hyung, Goo Joon Hwe, Kim Dong Hyuk), and three new YG trainees that rose out of tens of thousands of competitors in the YG auditions (Jung Jin Hyung, Jung Chan Woo, Yang Hong Seok). The clips of these trainees drenched in sweat and tears raise anticipation for the survival battle to ensue, and the consequent new group, iKON. YG also revealed a new title teaser with the name “MIX & MATCH – THE BEGINNING.” The clip was stylishly directed by Shin Hee Won, and filmed in one take. The clip starts out with the three members that have already been decided upon as members of iKON—leader B.I, Bobby, and Kim Jin Hwan. The video continues in relative slow motion as the members gather around. In the end, all nine members come together and cry out their catchphrase, “Get Ready?
