SISTAR Wins Top Honors on M!Countdown

Girl group SISTAR has won the top spot on Mnet's ranking program M!Countdown.

On the September 4 broadcast of "Mnet Countdown," SISTAR's title track "I Swear" off their album "Sweet & Sour" beat out rookie group WINNER's "Empty" for first place.

Immediately after receiving the award, the members of SISTAR said, "Thank you for this honor," and "We will pray to the end for the members of Ladies Code." They presented a somber atmosphere on stage during their encore performance as well, in sympathy for the singers who were injured in the recent car crash.

Jay Park, Super Junior, Secret, Sunny Hill, La Boum, Nasty Nasty, A.Kor, Taemin, Puer Kim, and many others also performed on this episode of "Mnet Countdown." Jay Park performed "So Good" from his recent album "Evolution," Super Junior performed "Shirt" and "Mamacita," and Taemin lit up the stage with "Danger."
