On the August 30 broadcast of MBC’s variety program “We Got Married,” model-actor Hong Jong Hyun set out to prepare a housewarming party for his virtual wife Yura and the rest of the Girl’s Day members. While the members of Girl’s Day were busy performing on “Music Core,” Hong Jong Hyun visited the kitchen, as well as the prop room that are located within the MBC building in order to get ready for the housewarming feast. Before Yura and the other members arrived at the couple’s newlywed home (on the MBC building’s roof), Hong Jong Hyun cleaned up the house and laid out a big table full of food. The model-actor showed his thoughtfulness by remembering the food that the Girl’s Day members had previously said they wanted to eat. He went out to various places to get generous amounts of beef, pizza, jajangmyeon (black soybean paste noodles), samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup), and more for them to enjoy. After seeing the housewarming feast set up for them, the members expressed their amazement, saying, “Yura married well.” Also, in an interview with producers, Yura shared how touched she was by Hong Jong Hyun’s thoughtful gesture and how thankful she was that he remembered even the smallest details.
