"The Three Musketeers" Off to a Successful Start with Ratings of 2.8%

The premiere of tvN's new historical drama "The Three Musketeers" has been well received by the viewers, hitting high ratings and living up to its expectations.

According to Nelson Media Research, the first episode that aired on August 17 recorded average viewer ratings of 2.8%, with peaks as high as 5.1%. The drama was particularly popular among women from their teens to forties, with "The Three Musketeers" ranking first among shows in the same time slot. The episode was also the favored choice of men in their teens and forties, proving the drama's wide appeal. In the capital area, the viewer ratings hit peaks of 6.7%.

In the highly anticipated premiere titled "The First Meeting," Dal Hyang (Jung Yong Hwa) starts his demanding journey towards the capital in the hopes taking the military service examination in the near future. Soon after, the four main characters are brought together by destiny as Dal Hyang runs into the three musketeers Crown Prince Sohyeon (Lee Jin Wook), Heo Seung Po (Yang Dong Geun) and An Min Seo (Jung Hae In). The final twist of the episode takes place as Dal Hyang finds out that his childhood crush Yoon Seo (Seo Hyun Jin) has become the Crown Princess, breaking the heart of Dal Hyang who has been waiting to marry his first love.
