YG Celebrates G-Dragon's Birthday, Fans Make Charity Donations

Talent agency YG Entertainment has posted a celebratory article honoring BIGBANG star G-Dragon on its website to mark the star’s birthday. The piece also gives details of fan donations made on his behalf. The post featured a large image of the star with the caption, “Happy Birthday G-Dragon. From YG.”

YG explained that one of the star’s fan clubs, Kwon Ji Yong Supporters had made a charity donations of 24 million won (around US$24,000) as birthday gift. Other fan clubs also made donations in the star’s name.

Label mate and Epik High star Tablo also took to social media, posting a photo of his daughter, with the caption, “Aug 18. Happy BDay, GD Oppa [older brother]!”

G-Dragon responded to the well-wishers with a Twitter post, which read, “I love you all!”

The star was one of the performers at the “AIA Real Life: Now Festival” on August 15, along with a plethora of other YG artists.
