SM Entertainment’s rookie girl group Red Velvet has been nominated as a candidate for first place on a music program after only two weeks since making their debut into the music industry!

Red Velvet will be battling it out on the August 17 broadcast of SBS’ “Inkigayo,” with their debut track “Happiness,” against senior groups SISTAR and Block B with “Touch My Body” and “HER,” respectively. This is the first time that the rookie group will be in the running for number one, following their very first debut stage on August 3.

“Happiness” is an urban euro-pop genre song that showcases a lively, tribal beat that emphasizes the group’s distinct and unique color.
