Viewers can look forward to some visual appeal in the upcoming tvN drama “The Three Musketeers.”

On August 15, brand new stills from the drama were revealed, showing off CNBLUE member Jung Yong Hwa’s impressive back muscles as character Park Dal Hyang.

PD Lee Young Ok, director of “The Three Musketeers” praised Jung Yong Hwa's hard work: “I heard that [he] normally enjoys going to the health club and playing basketball, which may be why his athleticism is so great. There are a lot of horse-riding and action scenes that require much physical activity within the drama, but he learns quickly and is pulling it off. Due to his overflowing passion and motivation, he doesn’t hold himself back from taking on the things he wants to accomplish, and exudes energy. The character of Park Dal Hyang possesses the genuine qualities of a warrior that many females will find charming. Please look forward to it.”

Meanwhile, “The Three Musketeers” is a fusion historical action drama starring Jung Yong Hwa, Lee Jin Wook, Yang Dong Geun, and Seo Hyun Jin. It is based on Alexandre Dumas’ 19th century French novel of the same name, but puts a twist on the classic tale, as it is set in the Joseon period.

This upcoming drama will be split into a total of three seasons, with 12 episodes per season, adding up to 36 episodes in all. Don’t miss out on “The Three Musketeers,” which will be premiering on August 17 on tvN!
