Ailee Drops “Goodbye My Love” from “Fated to Love You” OST + MV

Solo star Ailee has released a song from the soundtrack of popular MBC drama, “Fated to Love You.” The track is entitled, “Goodbye My Love.”

The song’s writer, Oh Joon Seong, told media sources that Ailee’s singing style was perfect for the track, saying, “The song is a kind of parting theme for the two main characters. I really wanted to capture the essence of the female lead character in the drama though this song. She seems weak-willed, but has deep, hidden strength, too. Ailee’s vocals can be deep and even mournful at times, and she really complements the song.”

The track is the latest in a series of songs to be released from “Fated to Love You.” Singers such as VIXX’s Ken and Megan Lee have also contributed to the drama’s soundtrack.

“Fated to Love You” airs on MBC on Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 9:55pm, and stars Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara.
