Gong Yoo and Jeon Do Yeon Confirmed For Lead Roles in “Man and Woman” Movie

Actors Gong Yoo and Jeon Do Yeon are set to team up for an upcoming movie entitled, “Man and Woman,” which will be set in a snow-coated, wintry Finnish landscape. The actors will play the lead male and female roles.

The new film is being described as a melodrama, a genre of movie that has become relatively rare in the Korean movie industry of late. For Jeon Do Yeon, who has appeared in films such as “Happy End” and “Untold Scandal,” the new movie will represent a return familiar acting territory. Gong Yoo, however, has won fame for his roles in thrillers and romantic comedies films such as 2013 hit, “The Suspect” and 2010's “Finding Mr Destiny.” 

Shooting will begin on the new project in the coming months, and no date has yet been set for its release.
