Park Shi Hoo Takes Two Spots on Chinese Chart, Ahead of TVXQ and JYJ

Actor and singer Park Shi Hoo has been enjoying great success in the charts in China with two versions of a song from the soundtrack of upcoming Chinese movie, “Scent.” Chinese chart compliers Baidu revealed that the Chinese version of the track, called “The Sound of You Coming” currently ranks at Number 3, with the Korean version reaching Number 4 in China. Both of the solo star’s tracks finished ahead of songs by fellow Korean acts TVXQ and JYJ, which ranked at Number 6 and Number 8 respectively.

A representative for the star told the media, “Thank you for the interest in ‘Scent.’ The success of the film is quite unprecedented, but he will do his best for the fans who have not forgotten him.”

The actor also stars in the movie, to be released in China on August 15, which tells the story of a Korean man who heads to China in search of a woman he has fallen in love with.
